Types of Fares Casa Travel offers 3 different types of fares. Consolidator fares are privately contracted fares you can add commission on to. The commission is hidden in the cost of the ticket, so your client will not see the amount. Cash Discount Net fares, or CDNs, are also private fares. These fares offer a 3.5% discount when paying with cash*¹. CDNs also allow you to add on a commission. Published fares are available to everyone. These fares are found on airline websites as well as other travel booking sites. Published fares only allow for services fees to be added. These fees will show as a separate charge on the passenger’s credit card.

Making a Booking Find the best itinerary for your clients and confirm. Be sure to enter passenger names exactly as they show on their passports. Once you create the reservation, you will receive a booking confirmation with the Casa Travel record locator, as well as all the passenger and flight information. You will be able to access this booking under the My Bookings section.

Groups Parties up to 18 people can be booked through Casa Travel. All airlines consider any party of 10 or more people to be a group, so Casa Travel is required to add a $20 Large Party Fee (LPF) per person for passengers 10-18.

Purchasing Tickets Most bookings must be paid for by 5pm central time the same day they are reserved. A few specialty fares*² allow up to 7 days to purchase after making the reservation. The purchase by date will be shown once the booking is made. You can purchase your booking online or by calling Reservations. If you apply payment online, you are accepting Casa Travel’s terms of the payment agreement*³. If you apply payment with Reservations over the phone, you will give authorization via email. E-tickets will be sent once the purchase goes through. You and your clients are then under full penalty for cancellations or changes. If you choose to pay with a third party credit card, Casa Travel reserves the right to request additional information from the cardholder.

Changes to Reservations If you need to change anything about your current booking, please call Reservations at 866-953-2272.

Name Corrections Casa Travel charges $75 per name to make a correction, plus the name correction fee of the carrier. **Please note: Not all airlines allow name corrections on ticketed reservations.** It is recommended to always double check the the spelling of your clients’ names. Name changes are not allowed.

*¹ Paying with Cash - Your organization will have to set up the Direct Payment option with Casa Travel. Paying with Direct Payment is just like paying by check, but easier because it is all electronic. To do this, you will have to complete the DPA Registration form. Please fax the form to Casa Travel at 866-933-2272, along with a voided organization check. If you want to pay by DPA the same day you send Casa Travel the form, it must be sent before 3pm CST.

*² For booking specialty fares, your passengers must have the proper documentation. For example, Cruise fares- All airlines reserve the right to verify eligibility by requesting passengers to present cruise documentation at the time of check-in.
